Using Linux and the Command Line
- Soon, you will be given assignments that require you to get hands-on with Linux. Due to advancements in Linux and command line integration, I'm expanding the menu of possibilities here, but know that I'm giving them to you in descending order of preference (best options are first, but your choice will not affect your grade, but it may give you less of a learning experience).
Note, if you already use Linux, i.e. you have a physical or virtual Linux computer on which you have root and can run sudo commands (and are willing to use for this class, nothing destructive) then you're already good to go. Another option: you may simply BUY a raspberry pi or similar. But you perhaps should *try* one of the following anyway

Before this, you may want to:
- Download Virtualbox for your machine (host) — http://virtualbox.org or your machines App Store
- Download an ISO that contains the operating system. I install MX Linux, but I also show off a bit of Linux Mint.
